Andy Friedman is an accomplished marketing and content leader known for unlocking the value of communities.
Andy is currently the Chief Digital Officer of WAI Investments, leading marketing and digital transformation for a portfolio of companies in the restaurant, healthcare and software sectors. He is now engaged in website rebuilds, CRM rollouts and executing a number of digital marketing campaigns with his growing team.
Known for integrating creativity and analytics in his marketing strategies, Andy says “combining metrics and magic are key to success” and that “having the right culture and the right team” are critical.
Previously, Andy served as the Chief Content Officer for the American Marketing Association, and has also had leadership roles at Tribune and B2B publisher Penton Media.
Starting his career as a journalist, Andy chased O.J. Simpson down the LA freeways while working as a reporter at a local radio station. Andy has a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA in Marketing from U.S.C.
